FAQs for Ginga Boo UK 4-Week Kizomba Kickstart
What should I wear to class?
Dress casually and comfortably—think fitted clothes that allow easy movement (e.g., leggings, jeans, or skirts). Opt for soft-soled shoes or dance sneakers; avoid hard trainers to protect the floor and feel the music better.
Do I need to wear heels?
Absolutely not! Wear whatever makes you feel confident and comfy. Heels are optional for those who enjoy the style, but flats work great for beginners focusing on basics.
I’ve never danced before—can I still join?
Yes! This course is designed for absolute beginners, ages 20-65, with zero prior experience needed. We’ll start from scratch, building your skills step-by-step so you feel empowered and ready to shine.
I don’t have a partner—can I join alone?
Of course! No partner required—we rotate partners during class to help everyone practice and make new connections in a fun, supportive way.
Do I need to attend every single class?
For the quickest progress and the beneficiate of the discount half price yes—aim for all 4 consecutive weeks. But life happens! If you miss one, we’ll share self-practice videos to keep you on track.
Should I stay for the social dancing after class?
It’s optional, but we highly recommend lingering for at least 30 minutes—it’s the perfect low-pressure way to apply what you’ve learned, build confidence with real dances, and chat with your new dance crew.
Will I have to dance close to strangers?
Your comfort comes first! Kizomba involves close-hold connection, but you set your boundaries—we rotate partners respectfully, and you can always opt for open-frame practice if preferred.
